Job Responsibilities

_Compliance Monitoring & Testing Program_ * Support the strategic development and tactical implementation of a Three Lines of Defense model for Corporate-level global regulatory compliance programs, developing and maintaining a risk-based compliance monitoring and testing program to assess implementation of effective compliance risk management practices and controls by first line operational management. * Work with Line of Business (LOB) Compliance to establish the compliance monitoring framework, methodologies, and standards for conducting compliance monitoring projects. * Monitor and mitigate risk exposure by identifying activity that poses potential for significant regulatory and/or reputational damage. Communicate findings and recommendations to management, determine root causes, obtain management’s action plan for remediation, and track findings through resolution. * Periodic metric reporting of monitoring and testing activities to management. * Plan, direct, and review work completed by the Compliance Monitoring team to comply with departmental methodologies and standards for planning, fieldwork, and reporting. * Assist in the support of regulatory exams and internal audits related to the Compliance Monitoring & Testing Program. * Develop and implement specialized risk assessments as needed, collaborating with LOB Compliance and business mgt. * Demonstrate ability to exercise good judgment in assessing the significance and relevance of identified compliance risks. * Develop and mentor staff, including career development, and provide guidance on policies, procedures and training.

_Program Mgt. - Compliance Training & Policies_ * Program Director of First Data’s Global Compliance Training and Compliance Policy Mgt. * Maintain company standards and framework for the development of Global Compliance Training and Policy Mgt. * Work with LOB Compliance, Human Resources and other organizational stakeholder SMEs in the development and execution of new or revised training and policies * Coordinate with company vendor to assist in the development and scheduling of Global Compliance training in close coordination with LOB Compliance and other relevant stakeholders * Provide assistance and compliance guidance to training and policy owners.

Job Requirements * CPA, CIA, CIPP, CAMS, CRCM, CFE or other applicable professional certifications desired. * Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant Compliance Auditing or Regulatory Compliance management experience in consumer financial services or payment services organizations with multiple financial products, or a regulatory agency or law firm involving payment services compliance. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management/supervisory position. * Bachelor's degree, emphasis in general business, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance or Business Law, or equivalent field. Graduate or law degree helpful. * Substantive experience in Three Line of Defense compliance model helpful. * Substantive understanding of the payment processing industry or retail/commercial financial products/services and of various regulations within the banking/financial services industry, including anti-money laundering and money transmission; GLBA, OFAC; Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; Fair Credit Reporting Act, Regulation E and similar consumer protection laws; etc. * Strong, effective communication, both oral and in writing; must be a strong, decisive, bottom-line and action-oriented manager of people and projects who can obtain results. * Understanding of best practices in the compliance field. * Proven track record of complex problem solving and decision-making ability. * Excellent analytical, project management and interpersonal skills. * Effective leader, who is self-motivated, possesses a strong work ethic and is a demonstrated team player. * Computer proficiency, specifically Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
